  CUSTODIAN – NORTHEAST

Days & Hours: Male - Every other Sat & Sun 11:00am – 4:00pm
Pay Rate: $8.50-$9.00 per hour
Special Certifications or Requirements: Must be 18 years of age or older and have knowledge of standard cleaning and safety procedures. Knowledge of safe operation of standard mechanical and/or electrical floor or carpet care and custodial equipment required. Knowledge of basic pool testing procedures and safe handling and storage procedures for cleaning products and chemicals required. Must be able to move constantly about for extended periods of time and move items weighing up to 100lbs throughout the building.
Job Duties: Perform daily cleaning duties in designated areas of the building including. Refill supplies in all areas as needed. Monitor pool and spa chemical levels at the beginning and end of each shift. Communicate in a positive, professional and friendly manner with members, supervisors and co-workers. Responsible for cleaning gender specific locker room, rest rooms and building during open hours.

   
 

MASTER SWIM COACH - NORTHEAST

Pay Rate: $9.00 - $14.00. Based on experience and certifications
Special Certifications or Requirements: A positive attitude and the ability to create and maintain relationships is required. Must have previous coaching experience or prior participation in Masters program. Must possess current First Aid and CPR/AED certifications or receive within 30 days of hire. Excellent communication skills, motivation and the willingness to work independently are necessary. Proficiency in swimming and the ability to remain in pool and pool area for extended time is required.
Job Duties: Masters Swim coach will conduct quality practices which foster a positive swimming experience. Responsible for set up and take down for all workouts (lane lines and equipment) and to provide instruction in stroke technique, starts and turns. Coach will provide 2-3 levels of workouts to adult participants and maintain a safe workout environment.

   
 

CHILD WATCH STAFF - NORTHEAST

1) Tuesdays & Thursdays 3:00-5:30 pm and every other Friday 5:00-7:00pm
2) Tuesdays & Thursdays 2:45-5:30 pm and every other Friday 5:00-7:00pm
Pay Rate: $7.25/hour
Special Certifications or Requirements: Experience working with children required. A love of children, good interpersonal skills and a professional manner are necessary. Must be able to bend, twist and lift up to 30 pounds on a regular basis. CPR and First Aid required but will train.
Job Duties: Provide a safe and secure environment for children in Child Watch - drop in childcare for children 6 weeks through 6 years old while parents utilize YMCA facilities and programs. Play with children at their level, using age appropriate interactions, and communicate with families entering and leaving Child Watch.

   
  FITNESS INSTRUCTOR - DEERFIELD SCHOOLS - NORTHEAST

Quarter 4 - 4/7-6/2; 7:50am -10:45 - Four 35 minute classes

Pay Rate: $25.00/hour
Special Certifications or Requirements: Knowledge of exercise principles and experience teaching group fitness classes. Preferred group exercise certification or willing to attend YMCA training.
Job Duties: Lead effective group fitness classes such as yoga, pilates, kick-boxing, zumba, and dance to elementary, middle, and high school students. Classes held in Deerfield, WI.
   
 

CHILDCARE LEAD AND ASSISTANT TEACHERS - EAST/OREGON

Special Certifications or Requirements: Must be experienced, energetic and love working with children. Must be able to provide a nurturing, safe and fun learning environment, developmentally appropriate for ages 18 months to 6 years old. CDA and/or Infant Toddler Credentials strongly recommended. Lead teachers must have 80 hours or 2 college courses in child development. Assistant teachers must have 40 hours or 1 college course in child development.
Job Duties: Provide primary care in a State Licensed Preschool/Childcare for children ages ranging 18 months to 6 years old. Responsible for planning and implementing lesson plans, monitoring attendance, and effectively communicating between the YMCA, staff, children and families.

  SCHOOL AGE CHILD CARE LEAD AND ASSISTANT TEACHERS

Special Certifications or Requirements: Must be 18 years old. Energetic, reliable, love children. Experience and education preferred. Lead teachers must have 80 hours or 2 college courses in child development.
Job Duties: Provide primary care to children ages 5 - 12. Responsible for monitoring attendance, planning projects, organizing activities, providing snacks; and providing communication between the YMCA, the families, and the children. All centers are state licensed. Madison sites are city accredited.
