Thanks to the generous support of our donors, our YMCA of Dane County Annual Campaign is able to fund financial assistance for Dane County families and children.
For example, Susan was a single mother who was working full-time and needed care for her 2 year old daughter, Emily. Friends told Susan about the Y preschool program at St. Dunstan's, but Susan needed help to offset the cost of child care. The Y was able to provide the financial assistance needed so Susan could continue to work with the reassurance that her daughter was in a safe and welcoming environment. "Emily would not have been able to attend preschool if it were not for the Y and the financial assistance program. I am deeply grateful for the Y and the support they gave my family." - Susan
