Friday Nights at the Y Extended

This summer the YMCA of Dane County has been involved in an exciting new program that brings teens into our community centers on Friday nights, and keeps them out of trouble. We've had an incredible experience throughout the summer, partnering with both the Madison Police and Fire departments. Both our East and West Y locations have been hosting local teens on Friday nights for the last several months, allowing them to have fun, stay active, meet new friends, and engage the positive role models that we have available in Y staff and local emergency services professionals.

We're excited to announce that this initiative will continue into the school year, as we look to continue our commitment to the youth in our community. To hear more about our program, see a recent story about our Friday Nights at the Y program from NBC 15.
