What is the YGive Financial Assistance Program?
YGive Financial Assistance raises funds so that all may participate in the YMCA regardless of their ability to pay and our available resources. Members, staff, and the community at large can participate by making a direct gift, participating in fundraising for the program or volunteering for special events.


Is funding available at all YMCA of Dane County Branches?
Funding is available at every branch of the YMCA of Dane County, Inc. You are welcome to use more than one branch for programs and activities.


How long will the funding continue?
Need for funding is reassessed annually depending on the situation. Funded memberships are based on the calendar year.


How will the Funding Assistance amount be determined?
We have a fee scale, based on total household income and number of dependents, which assists in determining the amount of funding you qualify for. We also consider special circumstances such as medical expenses or loss of employment.
