At the YMCA of Dane County, we are growing stronger together. 

Dane County faces new challenges that create a greater need for the work we do. Where some see obstacles, we see opportunities for our members, volunteers, staff and generous donors like you to make a difference. No other nonprofit organization can impact as many people as powerfully as we do everyday.

Each year, through our Annual Campaign, 100% of your donation directly supports financial assistance and program subsidies for your friends & neighbors. Through community donations, corporate giving and our member campaign, we are able to raise much needed funding that can immediately impact our region. When you give to the YMCA of Dane County, your gift will help young people achieve their potential, empower people of all ages to lead healthier lives, and strengthen the bonds of community in Madison.

We give nearly 27,000 facility and program members throughout the year a sense of belonging and provide the tools, support and skills to live life to its fullest. Nearly 25% of those members receive financial assistance, which means over 7,300 local residents have an opportunity to grow physically, intellectually and spiritually, and are empowered to make healthier choices for themselves and their families.

Your Donation Makes A Difference 

• $100 can: Ensure one low-income youth can participate in our Leopold Flag Football Program

• $500 can: Allow 24 children to participate in one session of swim lessons

• $1,000 can: Provide Y membership to 6 youth, giving them opportunity to cultivate positive values and behavior, and to grow unique talents and interests

  

• $2,500 can: Send 20 kids to a week of camp where kids learn self-reliance, a love for nature and the outdoors, and the development of attitudes and practices that build character and leadership

• $5,000 can: Cover the cost of the Y5210 in-class healthy habits program in 13 elementary school classrooms
