What your child will do at YDay Camps!
Anything from swimming and team sports to crafts and studying the environment. Most importantly, your child will be in a safe, friendly environment where the YMCAs core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility are an integral part of the curriculum.

We choose our staff based on their experience and sensitivity to childrens needs. They will inspire your child and create opportunities for them to learn and explore the world around them.
Register Early
Camps are located throughout the greater Dane County. However, space is limited, so sign up soon! You do not have to be a YMCA member to register. A non-refundable, non-transferable deposit for each week of camp must be paid at registration. Full payment due two weeks prior to the start of camp. A $20 late fill will be charged if payment is late.
All Are Welcome at the YMCA
Every child should have the opportunity to attend camp. The YMCAs Financial Assistance program, supported in part through contributions to the Strong Kids Campaign, provides funds for those in need within our available resources. Complete details are available at all area YMCA branches.

1st — 6th Grade
A fun and adventurous summer experience with a variety of indoor and outdoor activities focused on developing your child. Club Wannago is for children entering 1st grade through 6th grade (age limit 12.) While at Club Wannago your child will be in a group of children their own age participating in a variety of counselor led indoor and outdoor activities including active games, cooking, arts and crafts, dramatic play, group challenges and much more, all revolving around a weekly theme. There will also be weekly swimming and field trips.
Hours: 7:00am—5:45pm

1st — 6th Grade
The ultimate outdoor experience, our diverse camp environment will create memories your child will enjoy for a lifetime. Discovery Day Camp is a traditional camp environment focused on outdoor activities for children entering the 1st through 6th grades (age limit 12.)
Located at the Lion’s Club Clubhouse off of HWY 151, the site includes a covered shelter, indoor clubhouse, a large play area, and wooded hiking
trails set in a rustic camp like environment. Children are placed in groups of like aged kids with a camp counselor leading activities including; group
challenges, sports, environmental sciences, arts and crafts, field trips, swimming trips, and a wide variety of other exciting outdoor activities.
Hours: 7:30am—5:30pm
Five two week sessions, running from June 16-August 22, 2003.

All Star Football Summer Camp
Grade K—6
Prepare for Fall Flag Football. Learn basics from Sun Prairie High School Varsity Football Coaches and High School and College Prep players. Emphasis placed on fundamental skills of passing, receiving, punting and kicking. We’ll work on basic offensive and defensive formations and executing fundamental running and passing plays and games. T-shirt included. Register early!

Ages 11 — 14
Extreme sports, Environmental Education, Service Projects, Developing Leadership Skills, and Having Fun will be the driving force of this camp. This group will be on the move every day. At least twice a week we will work on a local service project such as visiting seniors, planting gardens, or helping at a day camp. Once a week we will get together with teens from others Y’s and do a Camp Challenge Day. And at least one day a week will be spent out of town. Trips will vary from State Parks, to Water Parks to Baseball Games. Call 837-8221 for more info on how your teen could have a summer to remember.
